“I am a Harvard MD who got back to work with the help of the iWALK Crutch.”

Dr. Pinto is an Interventional Cardiologist, who is currently the Chief Medical Officer of JenaValve Technology. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and served as the Chief of the Interventional Cardiology section at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Pinto chose the iWALK Hands-Free Crutch after an ankle fracture threatened to take him out of the operating room for several months, with a non-weight-bearing recovery. “I need my hands free in the operating room and the iWALK Crutch I was able to return to work after just a few days! I would definitely recommend the iWALK Crutch to people who are on crutches with a lower-leg-injury.”

Dr. Pinto specializes in complex coronary, structural, and peripheral vascular procedures with and without circulatory assistance. He is a training proctor for the newest transcatheter valves and is invited around the world to advise and perform cardiac procedures.
