Research Grant Submissions

Objective

iWALKFree, Inc is accepting research proposals focusing on comparisons of clinical outcomes for non-weight bearing lower limb injuries using the iWALK (hands free crutch), either stand alone or in direct comparison to traditional mobility devices, i.e., crutches and knee scooter. Specifically, we seek to have research that focuses on:

Eligibility

Proposals may be submitted by public and private institutions of higher education such as hospitals, medical schools, universities, and colleges.

Required Criteria

Proposals must include an abstract that briefly describes the study design and significance, specific aims that concisely states the goals and summarizes expected outcomes, research materials and methodology, study timeline and detailed budget.

Grant Proceeds

While iWALKFree, Inc is aware that academic institutions have financial obligations for administration of research studies, our grant policy is that all grant funds must go directly to the research requirements of the project. Depending on circumstances and the nature of the study, minimal indirect costs may be considered on a case by case basis in the sole discretion of iWALKFree, Inc
