World Rehabilitation Fund

Transforming Disability into Possibility

Founded in 1955, the World Rehabilitation Fund is the pioneer organization devoted to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities throughout the world.

Their mission is to enable people with disabilities in developing and war torn countries to achieve community and social integration through medical, physical, and socio-economic rehabilitation programs. Their programs in Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Lebanon provide needed medical training and resources to land mine victims and others with disabilities. They also have programs to provide aid and training in Sierra Leone, Haiti and other countries where aid is needed.
